LMAO: Mad Maxine’s Freaking Over Planned Protests At Her Office

Wassamatter, ‘Auntie’ Maxine? You can dish it out but you sure as heck can’t take it…

One of the major leaders of the anti-Trump #Resistance, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), is freaking out at a planned protest of her office by a pro-Constitution group.

The much-maligned Oath Keepers is an organization that consists of ‘current and former military, police, and first responders, who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”‘ As such, they have put out a ‘call to action’ to actively protest a woman that has been calling for the impeachment of President Trump since November 9, 2016, and has not stopped since. Waters is known for her ‘Impeach 45!’ chant and has become a darling on the left because of her unhinged rants.

The Oath Keepers call Waters a ‘terrorist inciter’.

Why would they label her that way?

I’m old enough to remember this moment waaaaay back almost a month ago when Rep. Waters advocated the harassment of Trump administration officials in public places.

That is just not reasonable behavior. It’s not what adults do.

But Rep. Maxine Waters is worried about the protest because the Oath Keepers, being the good pro-Constitution group that they are, actually exercise their Second Amendment right and carry with them when they protest. However, unlike the inappropriately named Antifa, they don’t go looking to cause trouble like the destruction of property or acts of violence.

But you know that Rep. Waters is going to spin this protest.

She’s warning her supporters about an ‘armed protest’ and calling the Oath Keepers ‘an anti-government militia’ intent on ‘inflame racial tension’.

So, now they’re racist?

In a lengthy statement issued late Wednesday, Waters, D-Calif., said she’d been notified about forthcoming protests by the Oath Keepers, which she described as “an anti-government militia” that’s staged armed protests in cities across the country.

She warned her supporters against being “baited” into counter-demonstrations or confrontations with the organization, which she said has a track record of “violent and provocative behavior.”

“I am requesting those individuals and groups planning a counter-protest to not be baited into confronting the Oath Keepers with any demonstrations in opposition,” Waters said. “Such an occurrence would only exacerbate tensions and increase the potential for conflict.”

She urged supporters to avoid protesting on the same date and time as protests planned by the Oath Keepers.

“The Oath Keepers would like nothing more than to inflame racial tensions and create an explosive conflict in our community,” Waters said. “The group is known to protest in military-style clothing while carrying various assault weapons.”

Members and former members of the military are wearing ‘military-style clothing’ while protesting.

Oh, the horror!

Here is her statement in full:

I have been notified that the Oath Keepers, an antigovernment militia that has staged armed protests in cities across the country, is planning to protest my district office in Los Angeles tomorrow afternoon. I am requesting those individuals and groups planning a counter-protest to not be baited into confronting the Oath Keepers with any demonstrations in opposition – such an occurrence would only exacerbate tensions and increase the potential for conflict. The Oath Keepers have a history of engaging in violent and provocative behavior. The group is known to protest in military-style clothing while carrying various assault weapons. The Oath Keepers would like nothing more than to inflame racial tensions and create an explosive conflict in our community. In order to ensure the peace and security of our community, it is best and preferable if no other demonstrations are scheduled on the same date and time as the Oath Keepers’ planned protest.

As I have stated many times, peaceful protest and civil dissent is the foundation of our democracy. All groups and individuals have the right to assemble and express their opposition to public officials and public policies – regardless of whether or not it is a group that shares our values. Nevertheless, because of the Oath Keepers’ history of promoting violence and intimidation, my primary concern is to maintain the safety and security of the protesters, staff, and constituents of California’s 43rd Congressional District – a task that would be exceedingly complicated by large crowds of protesters and counter-protesters.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) will have officers and personnel on site tomorrow to ensure safety and security.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated the Oath Keepers as an ‘extremist group’.

Of course, the SPLC is neither about poverty nor law and could easily be classified as an extreme leftist propaganda organization. On their list of ‘hate groups’ is ‘Christian identity’ — implying that being Christian itself is hateful.

If there is trouble in front of Rep. Maxine Waters’ office, let’s see who it is that instigates. I’m guessing it won’t be the Oath Keepers, but rather the ones dressed in black with their faces covered carrying ‘assault sticks’ and ‘assault bike locks‘.
